Simon Bolton
The mountains always have been a big part of Simon’s life. Growing up in Gstaad he was introduced to the outdoors from an early age, probably skiing before he was able to walk. Over the years he developed a passion for climbing and skiing which would determine his later life. Deciding to make a living in the outdoors Simon trained as a Swiss Mountain Guide and has specialised in ski touring and free riding and is an acknowledged expert on avalanches. He is the owner of the Alpinzentrum Gstaad, one of the biggest outdoor providers in Switzerland, and founder of OLCS. Simon is a member of the Swiss Mountain Guide Association and a Board member of the Swiss Outdoor Association.
